Key Stage 2 - SATs Booster / Intervention Teacher - Part Time - Outstanding SEMH School

Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who is passionate about raising attainment, and would be interested in teaching intervention groups across Key Stage 2 alongside covering for PPA across the school? A primary school in the Epping Forest District area are seeking an experienced group intervention and PPA teacher to start as soon as possible. The role is on a part time basis, and would involve teaching lower ability KS2 students with SEMH. The intervention groups will be focusing on core subjects.

  • Teaching lower ability Key Stage 2 groups core subjects on a part time basis
  • Delivering a range of group Numeracy and Literacy intervention sessions to small groups of pupils
  • Cover for PPA, being flexible in their approach, and consistent with classroom and behaviour management

  • It is essential that you demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning and behaviour strategies, and have a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, with excellent subject knowledge in Numeracy and Literacy. Experience delivering intervention group sessions is desirable, and ideally you will have at least 2 years' experience teaching in Key Stage 2. SATs booster or intervention experience is also highly desirable.
