Inclusion Support Assistant - South East London
Are you an experienced Inclusion Support Assistant looking to expand your skills in a supportive school environment in Lewisham, South East London? Key Responsibilities:
- As an Inclusion Support Assistant, provide dedicated one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs across Key Stages 3 to 5 in South East London.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs as an Inclusion Support Assistant.
- Support classroom teachers in managing challenging behaviours, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment in North London.
- Participate actively in training and professional development sessions, enhancing your skills as an Inclusion Support Assistant.
- Contribute to the overall education and training program of the school, ensuring that each student's educational needs are met.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Inclusion Support Assistant in a similar role, ideally across Key Stages 3 to 5 in South East London.
- A genuine interest in working with children with special educational needs in South East London.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience, qualities valued in a North London educational setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting the ethos of the school.
- A commitment to ongoing education and training to improve your skills and effectiveness as an Inclusion Support Assistant.
