Cambridgeshire County Council are currently looking for an Interim Highway Inspector.

• Up to £60hr.
• Hybrid working.
• Inside IR35.

Highway inspector to inspect the construction of the portions of the A428 DCO which will become Cambridgeshire County Council assets. This is restricted to overbridges and junctions, not the mainline.

Undertake site visits to spot check work, review testing data, check material tickets and generally check for compliance against approved drawings. Where there are deviations from the approved design or other faults, escalate to the project sponsor and on-site supervisor.
The remit of this inspector would be to inspect the construction of the National Highway led infrastructure which will revert to CCC when the works are complete.
