Remedy Education are currently working with an amazing Primary school who are looking for a HLTA for their mainstream Primary School.
Role Overview: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Greenwich
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. The successful candidate will be looking after a group of Children of 5 Children with SEN needs.
Key Responsibilities: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Greenwich
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, providing support to teachers and students.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and help with specific educational needs.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Promote positive behavior and a safe, engaging learning environment.
- Support the inclusion of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans.
- Ability to commute to Greenwich
Qualifications and Skills: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Greenwich
- Experience Teaching Assistant /LSA or relevant qualifications
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational frameworks.
- Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably in a mainstream environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed.
