Your Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a TA in an SEN setting.
- A relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- A profound understanding of behaviour management strategies and experience in implementing them effectively.
- Expertise in supporting students with complex needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and other developmental challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- The ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment, fostering a sense of belonging for every child.
Responsibilities:
As a dedicated HLTA at our school, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons that cater to individual learning styles and abilities.
- Assisting students in their personal, social, and emotional development.
