Our client, Herefordshire Council s looking for a Adult social worker to join their team.

Prior experience and confidence with Adult safeguarding enquiries and investigations is essential and should be evidenced in applications.

Herefordshire Adults and Communities are developing adult social care services in keeping with the new responsibilities under the Care Act April 2014. We are looking for enthusiastic, forward thinking practitioners to join us in this opportunity to enhance the existing services.

You will need to be a qualified and experienced social worker, registered with HCPC. You will be expected to have a solid knowledge base within adult social work and strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a developed understanding of social care practice and legislation.

You will have the ideas, values and knowledge that ensure that our responses are person centred, strength based, safe and effective with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for the individuals you support. You will work on your own initiative in order to meet the requirements of the assessment and review process. We are interested in staff with experience in mental health, learning disability, physical disability and older people.

You will need to be:

Social work england registered
Eligible to work in the UK
Atleast 1 year post qualifying experience
