Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Head of Service to join Newham Councils Adults Services.

Job Purpose

The post is a senior level position managing service managers. It covers older people and disability (does not include learning disability and mental health).

The service is still coping with covid restrictions and associated risks and needs to prepare for winter pressures. The post holder will need to have managed staff at a senior level and led and managed transformation and improvement of services.

At the same time we are embarking upon a structural change and this post holder will lead on a number of service improvements, including -

• Hospital discharge - a redesign of services to include the integrated discharge hub
• Access services - a redesign of services to include strengths-based outcomes and a stronger preventative and enablement approach at the front door
• Community social work services - a redesign of current models and pathways to support and compliment Primary Care Networks
• Continue to manage and embed OT pathways

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
