One of our Lambeth based schools are on the lookout for graduates who are aiming to jump-start their career in education by becoming graduate teaching assistants.
Firstly, how is a graduate teaching assistant different from a teaching assistant?
Being a graduate teaching assistant is a starting platform that opens up different opportunities for those who acquired their degree - giving you a boosted entryway into education and all the career paths that come with it. Whether you choose to be a teacher, SENCO, Educational psychologist and more!
The main path the graduate teaching assistant role promotes is to support you as a co-teacher for a year with the intention to review your progress after to help you excel.
What you can expect:
*** £70 - £80 per day
*** Full time role
*** Supporting pupils 1:1, in small groups and classes
*** A supportive senior leadership team
*** Prior experience desirable but not necessary
*** Excellent transport links making it easily accessible
*** SEN roles also available!
All that's asked of you is that you show initiative and commitment to the role as we're seeking to make an investment in you and your future in return for your proactive approach.
As clearly stated above, the school aims to provide the best learning for all students in all areas of their lives. The same philosophy is also present for staff!
