Job description

Our client, Gloucestershire County Council is looking for a senior social worker to join their Assessment team, where they will hold a caseload of children and provide an effective, evidence based intervention with consideration of timeliness and impact and with a case load of around 18. The rate of £40 per hour is being offered to attract quality candidates to Gloucestershire to help meet the current unprecedented demands the Authority is facing. This rate has been increased to attract new candidates who can start from 4th January and this rate will be reviewed again at the end of June 2021 Gloucestershire County Council are committed to ensuring our agency Social Workers are supported to carry out their roles, so our expenses package for accommodation and/or mileage up to £100 per week remains in place and will be reviewed at the end of June 2021.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
