Job description

Remedy Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Lambeth.

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 early years teaching assistant to work with pupils aged 1 - 4 on a full time, long term basis.(June 2018 until Easter 2019 This role requires candidates to hold a Level 3 teaching assistant qualification. Experience as a key worker is preferred but not essential.

When attending a school on behalf of Remedy Education you may be required to work both on a 1:1 and group basis supporting the pupils in all aspects of school life.

This role will include various tasks such as;

·Supporting individuals to complete set tasks within the classroom.

·Promoting independence within the school environment.

·Leading small groups under direction of the teacher.

·Implementing behaviour strategies.

·Working in partnership with teachers and other TA's to provide a stable, positive environment for learning.

·Supervising community activities with the pupils.

Individual who have worked in an environment supporting and managing young people such as youth groups, sports coaching and mentoring

Individuals with SEN experience
