EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: North London
Pay: £95-£115 per day

We are looking for a caring and patient EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support young children with special educational needs in an Early Years setting. This role is ideal for someone with experience in EYFS who understands the importance of routine, nurturing support and learning through play.

You will be supporting children with a range of needs, including autism, developmental delay and communication needs, helping them to access learning in a safe and supportive environment.

The Role:

• Support children with SEN within Nursery or Reception

• Provide 1:1 and small group support

• Assist with play-based learning and EYFS activities

• Support communication, social skills and emotional development

• Follow structured routines and individual support plans

• Support personal care where required

• Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working in EYFS

• Have experience supporting children with SEN (school or care background)

• Be calm, nurturing and patient

• Understand early childhood development

• Be comfortable supporting personal care

• Work well as part of a team
