Experienced Qualified Social Workers to work in the Children in Care, Leaving and After Care Team urgently needed!!

Essex County Council is one of the largest and most dynamic local authorities in the UK and is undergoing significant transformational change to further enhance customer focus, service and delivery. 
For these roles, they do require 12 months experience as a Qualified Social Worker within a statutory setting. 

Main duties will include:
• To deliver direct provision of services relating to vulnerable children, young people and complex families.
• Managing a defined caseload, you will be responsible for working effectively with children, young people & families/carers to achieve positive change and improved outcomes. 
• To deal with enquiries, assessments, purposeful intervention through direct work and review in relation to Child Protection, Child in Need and Children Looked After, achieving permanency through care for Children in Care 

Essential requirements:
• DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent.
• Recent experience of working directly with children of all ages.
• Car driver/owner due to the nature of the role – you may need to travel out of the county
