Job description

Here at Remedy Education we have been approached by a Secondary School to find an experienced English teacher to teach up to a GCSE level.

The school require an individual who have a strong background in supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). You would be supporting secondary aged pupils who have been excluded from their mainstream setting and now attend a provision who specialise in supporting pupils in this area.

The role is known to be more challenging, but class sizes compensate for that with only 7 pupils max per class, so less planning, less marking and more available time to focus on what you are passionate about.

The ideal candidate will be willing to work on a full-time basis and enthusiastic about getting involved in school's extra curricular activities.

The role would initially be for 6 months, but there could be the option of going permanent if you impress the school!

  • English teaching post - Immediate start for suitable applicants (immediate interviews)
  • Daily rate - £140 - £200 per day
  • A Team Teach or relevant de-escalation qualification would be preferred, but training on this can be provided through Teaching Personnel.
  • Position suitable for experienced teachers or NQT's

Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to departmental responsibilities is essential for the incoming English teacher.

*All English teachers are welcome to apply and urged to do so quickly as the school wish to make a quick appointment*

Please apply with a CV or covering note or give Carly Walters a call to discuss things further.

Look forward to hearing from you!
