Emotional Literacy Support Assistant - Streatham South East London

Remedy Education are looking for a ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) to start in our lovely primary school in Streatham starting in September 2022.

The school are particularly looking for a TA/LSA with experience in pastoral care type roles, with ELSA training (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant).

You will be working work 1:1 and across the class, in an all-age through school.

This setting caters to pupils with Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health need, ADHD and other complex needs. This can be a challenging environment, and you will need to have a slightly thick skin in order to engage and build rapport with the pupils. It is important that you have an understanding or then an eagerness to learn how to interact with the pupils and to be able to build such good rapports.

September start
£80-90 a day
Long term to permanent role
Based in a primary school in Lambeth

To be accepted for this role you must hold a current DBS and have previous experience working within a school
