EBD Teaching Assistant / Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties

An EBD teaching assistant is needed on a long-term basis in a school based in Islington

The school caters for students who suffer with SEMH and EBD, as well as those under the care of the Local Authority.

We are looking for

• teaching assistants who are caring, reliable and are willing to support these challenging students.
• We look for people who have ideally dealt with challenging behaviour before and been based in a classroom supporting students.
• Previous experience working 1:1 with SEN students
• Any other SEN experience is also desirable.

You must be able to engage with the students, gain their trust and help them to develop essential skills for life beyond education. The students are vulnerable and will need that little bit extra support.
