Our client, Devon County Council is looking for a Senior Commissioning Officer to join their team.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ADULTS/CHILDRENS/EDUCATION SECTOR. Remote working available required in office when restrictions lift. The Commissioning Team are looking to fill a key strategic role in the team. If you demonstrate commitment to children, young people and their families in Devon and a track record of commissioning in partnership to improve outcomes we are keen to hear from you. You will work strategically and take a leading role in developing commissioning relationships with providers and partners. You will be committed to co-design principles and be able to demonstrate where you have used engagement to influence commissioning decisions. You will be able to demonstrate you can think about the resource opportunities across the system of delivery for children working with others to achieve value for money. You will manage and develop up to 4 commissioning officers who will be analysing the needs of young people in Devon, helping to design and commission services for children, young people and families. You will also support Commissioning officers and work with partners to monitor and evaluate the quality and impact of services.

You will need to be:

Social work england registered
Eligible to work in the UK
Atleast 1 year post qualifying experience
