Remedy Tutors are looking for a qualified educator to support a young person based in South Croydon with English,Maths & Science. This particular student requires 3 hours of tuition a week after school hours.

In some situations, students may be extremely hard to reach and resistant to receiving 1:1 support. Our tutors need to be resilient and patient to break through and have an impact on the lives of these students.

We always expect our tutors to put 100% effort into all their lessons taught making sure you do everything you possibly can do so to help and encourage students with wherever they are at with their learning.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver specific programmes which complement ongoing class work, learning objectives and assessment plans along with the class teacher
• Deliver tuition face-to-face / online and be confident in adapting content, style, format of the session to ensure results are achieved
• Build strong relationships with pupils and school contacts through session delivery, weekly review meetings, tuition progress reports and feedback

Tutors will essentially have the following:

• A UK recognised teaching qualification
• A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching children Science/English/Maths
• Enhanced DBS for children and adults
• Right to work within the UK
• Minimum of 2 years of child related professional references
