Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Consultant in Public Health to work within Waltham Forest Council.

Job Purpose

Waltham Forest Council is looking to appoint a locum Consultant in Public Health/Public Health Medicine for a minimum of three months with the possibility of extension. The portfolio areas to be considered will include some combination of sexual health, substance misuse, tobacco, children and maternal health, and community safety, but there will be opportunity for discussion. This opportunity is available for applicants that wish to work either part or full time (0.6 to 1 WTE). The successful candidate (s) will be technically able, excellent at partnership working, and be committed to tackling health inequalities and to leading a successful programme of public health responsibility within Local Government.
