Business Studies Teacher- The Role
I am working with a secondary school based in Wimbledon that are looking to appoint an Business Studies Teacher on a permanent basis starting in September. The school have described their ideal candidate as someone that has strong subject knowledge and confident in all aspects of the subject. They are looking for someone that has the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons. This position will be starting in September and will be a full time and permanent position.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified Business Studies Teacher or experienced Business Studies Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Business Studies Teacher or overseas trained Business Studies Teacher.

All applicants must have the following in order to be shortlisted for this Business Studies

Teacher role:

• Right to work in the UK
• UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• Experience of teaching as a Business Studies Teacher in UK schools

Duties of a Business Studies Teacher:

• Teaching & Delivering Business Studies GCSE and A Level Curriculum
• Sole focus on delivering high quality lessons each day.
• Sit in on SLT Team Meetings, having a say on Key Decisions within the School
• Managing Behaviour - Building Relationships with staff, students & parents
• A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject.
• Be able to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet.

Business Studies Teacher- The School
The school is a secondary school, based in Stepney which caters to approximately 1,400 students ranging between 11 to 18. The school is situated close to Stepney train station which operates on the Hammersmith & City Line and District Line. In addition to the train, there are multiple bus routes close to the school, and onsite parking for staff.
