Our client, Bolton Council, is looking for a social worker for a PROJECT within the Child Protection team.

The team will consist of 4 SWs with a caseload limited to 15 (average in Bolton is 25) and will be dedicated to working to support the step down of child protection plans where that plan has got a little stuck but would be achievable with some focussed and intensive SW interventions.

The team have already managed to reduce the numbers of CP plans from 444 to 398 with another 40-50 in scope for step-down. The contract likely to last 12 months & rate of up to £35ph Umbrella.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
