Are you looking to be an Behaviour Mentor on Long Term Contract?
Are you looking to work in a leading Secondary School?
We are looking for a nurturing and passionate Behaviour Support Mentor to join one our leading SEN schools in South East London. You will be delivering the best support to students aged 11-16. We would require you to have strong Autism experience as most of the students have mild SEN and are working at a high level. The key aspect of this role is cohering to the behaviour de-escalation methods and promoting positive reinforcement strategies.

- Location: Greenwich, South East London
- Rate: £100 - £120 per day

Behaviour Mentor | Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with classroom teachers and special education professionals to support students with challenging behaviour ranging from ASD and ADHD
- Working in the inclusion unit within a Mainstream School
- Implement behaviour intervention plans and strategies to address individual student needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop and implement effective solutions.
Behaviour Mentor | What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a behaviour mentor, counselling, or similar role within an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive and empathetic approach, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
