* The Local Authority has a large and diverse portfolio of Capital Projects and needs high calibre project and programme management to help shape and deliver plans to deliver key projects to support the Borough's Growth Strategy.

* The Hendon Hub scheme has a c.£100m construction value, with a GDV of over £250m GDV. The scheme based is in and around The Burroughs in Hendon NW4; You will have overall responsibility for leading the delivery of the Hendon Hub scheme on behalf of the London Borough of Barnet;

* This role will be responsible for leading and clienting the project team to ensure that the project is managed in accordance with the council's project management toolkit and that all delivery risk is managed and mitigated as far as possible. * The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with the relevant parts of the council's constitution regarding procurement, land and property transactions, and decision making.

* You will be responsible for manoeuvring the project through local government governance and political approval processes
