Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant

Remedy Education are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who can support students with ASD, we are ideally looking for an Autism Specialist.

Our SEND School cater for Primary/Secondary aged students on Autism Spectrum, Complex needs and Challenging behaviour. They provide a positive and inclusive learning environment by recognising and valuing pupil's individual strengths to allow students to access learning to the best of their ability.

You will be working within the classroom and on a one to one basis with a number of our students, you will support the teacher within the classroom with learning.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are excellent practitioners, who take on a creative and dynamic approach to learning and are willing to commit to on a long-term basis to the school. We are looking for individual with a genuine passion and strong understanding of SEND learning environments. They are looking for individuals who have a fantastic work ethic, who can bring their dedication and specialist knowledge to help students learning and development.

To be accepted for this role you must have previous experience as a teaching assistant, supporting SEN students and an up to date DBS.
