Role: ASD Behaviour role - Secondary

We are looking for x2 ASD TA's to work at one of our most flourishing Secondary school is South East. You will be delivering the best support to students aged 11-16, providing the best academic and social support. Most of the students have mild autism, however you will encounter some with challenging behaviour. This position will allow you to showcase your best techniques and test your understanding of various reinforcement strategies.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
• Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.

Requirement:

• Must have strong SEN Experience (Preferably ASD and ADHD)
• Candidates must have a valid DBS certificate on the update service (Not mandatory as we can provide one)
• Some knowledge of strategies in working with young people with challenging behaviours
• CACHE Level 2 qualification or above.
• Basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
• Safeguarding experience
