The Role - ASD Teaching Assistant

This ASD Teaching Assistant role will consist of you working with a Year 7 male pupil that has ASD and sometimes display Challenging Behaviour. You will be responsible for building rapport with this particular student and helping him reintegrate back into the classroom. You will have to provide 1:1 academic sessions with this student to give him the best opportunity to progress. To become a successful candidate for this ASD Teaching Assistant role, you must have previous experience working with ASD.

The School - ASD Teaching Assistant

This SEN school provides for students aged between 10 and 19 with Sensory needs that may need extra support when in class. It is located in Croydon and can easily be found if you were to arrive via public transport. Around 100 pupils attend this SEN school and after its latest inspection in 2019, Ofsted awarded the school a 'good' rating.
