ASD Teacher, SEN Teacher
Greenwich
£150 - £190 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are to hold QTS.

Contract dates
September 2021 - August 2022

The role
Remedy Education are seeking to recruit a ASD Teacher/SEN Teacher to join a 'Good' two form entry secondary school in Greenwich. The school are seeking to recruit a ASD Teacher/SEN Teacher to work in their ASD provision, specifically to teach the KS3,KS4 class. The teacher will be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of the curriculum and previous experience teaching pupils with ASD is essential. The ASD Teacher/SEN Teacher will teach a small class of approximately 10 pupils and will be supported by a highly experienced and skilled team of LSA's. The position is a maternity cover and will initially be contracted from September 2021 until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to be re-employed beyond this point.

The school is a popular, 2 form entry school located in Greenwich. The school caters for a diverse cohort of pupils, with pupils form a variety of different ethic and socio economic backgrounds. The school has a purpose built ASD provision on site. The school is well known for it's deep rooted sense of community and encourages active parental involvement throughout the school. The SLT are highly experienced there is a big focus on well being for both the staff and pupils. Turnover at the school is very low, which is testament to the positive and happy working environment that runs through the school. Requirements
To be considered for the ASD Teacher/SEN Teacher position, you will:

  • Hold an enhanced DBS
  • Have previous experience working with children in the UK in the past 2 years
  • Hold QTS
  • Have previous experience teaching pupils with ASD
