ASD Teacher

Remedy Education is currently working with a SEN School who is looking to employ an experienced ASD Teacher who will be responsible for the learning and development of one of their ASD Classes. There will be 10 students in the class who will be working at different levels. Due to the students needs, knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum is a must. All of your students will have their own individual EHCPs, this will need to be taken into consideration when planning and adapting your lessons. In the classroom you will have 3 Teaching Assistants who will be there to support the students during their lessons, manage behaviour and assist students with toileting and personal care. The ideal ASD Teacher for this role must have a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar type of school and be will to take on extra responsibilities as the year goes on.

SEN School

This SEN School is located in the South London borough of Greenwich and caters for students aged between 11-19 years with Special Educational Needs, they currently have 150 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in 2018, they were reviewed as 'Outstanding' in all areas. This school has state of the art facilities and experienced therapists ensuring that all of their students are receiving the most out of the education and development.
