Job description

Advanced Social Worker - Wiltshire Council - Adult Social Care - Up to £38ph!

As advanced practitioner you will lead with social work practice development and quality assurance within the team. You will be expected to provide supervision to members of the Social Work staff in the main but other non-qualified staff as required. You will be required to manage a small complex caseload when required and have experience in undertaking Care Act Assessments.

You will need to have a good understanding/experience/knowledge around Safeguarding Adults. An ability to work in partnership with Health colleagues, this will include undertaking processes as per appropriate Legislation and Wiltshire Council Policies/Guidelines.

A confident and can-do attitude would be desirable. You will have responsibility for overseeing waiting lists and allocation referrals, undertaking risk assessment and prioritising to ensure customers' needs are met in a timely manner.
