Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Qualified Social Worker to work within a 25-65 Disabilitiy Team for a Local Authority based in South London.

Job Purpose

Advanced Social Worker required for Immediate Response Team, 25-65 Disability Team. The team works with people with learning and physical disabilities and also adults in need- experience is needed in these service user groups. This is a short term team working with people often in urgent and emergency situations. Workers needs to be able to work at a senior level, in a fast paced environment and be able to assess risk and consider measures to meet needs working with a strengths based approach.

As an Advanced post candidates needs to have supervision experience and to be able to screen cases and provide an analysis of the most important issues, working with urgency. Workers need to be able to work positively in a team and feel confident in supporting others and working with a range of different professionals and agencies. The worker should be highly proficient in completing assessments, reviews and triaging safeguarding cases and have experience of a 'duty' type environment. Ideally experience of using AIS would be very helpful.
