Secondary Tutor based in Barking and Dagenham - East London

Remedy Education are looking for a tutors to work 1:1 with a student with a variety of different students helping them with their core subjects. You will be paid anywhere between £25.00 to £35.00 per hour to plan and deliver each tutoring session

To be a Secondary Tutor you will need:

• QTS
• at least 8 years' experience teaching and assessing in secondary schools
• at least 8 years' experience working with SEN special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD.
• a proven record of being able to heighten pupil's confidence, self-esteem and love of learning
• 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability and honesty
• to creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching
• excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• incredible patience
• an excellent knowledge of different learning styles and how to use these
• the ability to deal with possible behaviour issues
• the ability to work flexibly and attend meetings outside hours if necessary
• to be a team-worker
• a Enhanced DBS on the update service
