Are you a qualified ABA therapist looking for a new role in Primary Education?

Remedy Education are looking for qualified ABA Teaching Assistants to support a local primary school in Southwartk for September 2022. You will be required to provide ABA support for a child in lower KS2. This will be a 1:1 role for the student in a very supportive mainstream school while using the principles of ABA to enable them to access learning. This role will be full time, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 4pm.

• Implementing ABA principles to provide therapy to children with cognitive and adaptive problems.
• Organising interventions to benefit the learning of students
• Implement strategies to support individual needs of the students which will include ABA, Speech and Language
• Review and record all child progress
• Be supportive and committed to the child you are working with
• Be a positive and motivational role model for all children in the learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

This role would best suit someone who has experience of working with primary children in a support / SEN role. It would also be appropriate for psychology graduates, speech and language graduates or anyone with an SEN background. This may also suit someone wanting to take on teacher training in the future for more classroom experience.
