3 X SEN Primary Teaching Assistant - Lambeth - Excellent Experience

A brilliant school in the London borough of Lambeth are looking for 3 enthusiastic and creative Male SEN Primary Teaching Assistants to support children across their OUTSTANDING graded school.

Each candidate appointed will be supporting ASD and SEMH children in both KS1 & KS2.

Role

  • Primary Teaching Assistant based with either KS1 or KS2
  • 5 days a week: 8:30am to 4:15pm
  • £70 - £85 per day during term time
  • Supporting children with Autism and Social and Emotional Mental Health
  • Liaising with Class Teachers and the SENCO regarding progress of children
  • Attending staff meetings and working collaboratively as a team
  • IDEAL for aspiring Primary Teachers or Psychologists

  • Continued OUTSTANDING judgement from Ofsted
  • 3 form entry with an average of 30 pupils per class

Candidate

  • Graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1 degree (relevance to education or Psychology preferred!)
  • Strong academics in A levels and GCSEs
  • Experience working in a SEN setting
  • Enthusiastic and motivated personality - ready to make a difference!
  • Commitment to promoting high standard of teaching and learning
  • Has a positive and caring approach towards supporting children in a primary school setting
  • Knowledge of ASD and child mental health
