An 'Outstanding' Lewisham Primary School is looking for two MALE SEN Teaching assistants to work with a range of needs from: Autism (ASD), ADHD, PMLD and a range of behaviour issues. These roles will also involve you supervising the boys changing room during PE, hence the male focus.

The Primary School has an excellent support staff team who are committed to ensuring the pupils get the most from their education. If you are a graduate with a strong academic background and experience of working in SEN, then this is the ideal role for you.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Male Primary SEN Teaching Assistant x2
• Focus on supporting children with: Autism (ASD), ADHD and a range of behaviour issues
• Working alongside the Class Teacher & Schools SENCo following a learning plan
• ASAP - July 2019, Full - Time
• £70 - £85 per day
• Located in Lewisham, South East London

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Must have a degree from a reputable University required (Psychology or related)
• Previous SEN experience is desirable, but not essential - PMLD experience would be perfect!
• Must be confident within your ability and look to go above and beyond for the child
• Strong passion for SEN is required. Ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists
