1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Harringay - September - Full Time

Remedy Education are currently recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a school located in Harringay, London. The position is working in Key Stage 2 supporting students 1:1 with SEN.

The day to day schedule will involve working closely with pupils who experience difficulties in the classroom and encouraging them to engage in the curriculum. Supporting the teacher with the day to day running of schedules and general duties is also required. You will also be comfortable working in one-to-one and in group settings.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience working with children that have ADHD and Autism.
  • Experience in dealing with challenging behaviour.
  • Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
  • A relevant teaching qualification
