A primary school located in Havering, East London are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant to support a child in KS2 with ASD. This role is full time!

** Full time (Monday to Friday)
** 8:30-3.30PM

This primary school are eager to find someone who can hit the ground running and someone who has experience working with children with ASD/ ADHD or challenging behaviour.You will be required to work 1:1 with a child in Year 3 who has Autism and they are looking for someone who is passionate and ideally has experience with PECS or Makaton (this is not essential).You must have a calm approach while setting clear boundaries and expectations. You will be well supported throughout the school and have many training opportunities from day one.In terms of the school itself, you will have access to fantastic resources to enable you to do your job efficiently and effectively.The child you will be working with is eager to learn and is looking for a teaching assistant who can support them and help them to achieve the best that they can. You must be passionate about SEN and have experience.
