1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Southwark South East London

Remedy Education are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our lovely school based in Southwark South East London. You will be supporting students with Mild SEN who need extra support with their education and development.

This is a full-time position starting immediately on a long-term ongoing contract.

The ideal candidate for this 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role will need to have had previous experience working with a child or adult with SEN needs but this does not necessarily need to be in a classroom setting.

The right person should be able to show empathy and patience whilst being consistent in their approach. With prior experience of working with children (although not necessarily SEN), required attributes are excellent numeracy and literacy, a good general education, resilience, enthusiasm and a team player.

You must have worked in a school before, and you must have a DBS to be accepted for this role.
