Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced YOT officer to work within a Local Authority based in North London.

Job Purpose

• The YOS promotes interventions with young offenders that reduce the risk factors associated with offending, increase the protective factors and reinforce the responsibilities of parents.
• The purpose of the job is to work as part of a multi-agency team preventing offending by children and young people by delivering a range of interventions in line with statutory requirements and national and local priorities for youth justice and children's services.
• To manage a caseload and undertake direct work with children, young people and their parents/carers, including lone working, undertaking home visits and meeting young people at other community venues.
• To use ASSET Plus and other assessment tools to gather and analyse information that leads to an accurate in-depth understanding of a young person's offending behaviour.
