This role will initially be for three to four months with a possible extension beyond this.

The successful candidate will have;

1. The ability to identify the needs of children referred within a statutory 24 hour timescale. You will negotiate delivery of services where appropriate and be able to promote listening to children at every opportunity; ensuring their views are heard, recorded and acted upon in an appropriate and timely manner.
2. To identify the most appropriate framework and service and be able to record clearly your rationale and decision making
3. To work alongside other professionals in the MASH process in order to identify children who are in need. Additionally, the ability to act swiftly to ensure a response for children who are at risk of harm.
