This role is based in the Children with Disabilities Team which is a specialist social work team working with disabled children, young people and their families.

The work of the team covers the full range of statutory duties in the delivery of the service, undertaking Child in Need assessments and developing support plans for disabled children.

You will also work with a small number of children where there are safeguarding concerns or who are Looked After.
