SEN Teaching Assistant - December 2018 Start - London Borough of Greenwich

We are currently working with an SEN primary school in Greenwich who urgently require a Team Teach trained TA to work with an Autistic boy in year 4.

The school has excellent facilities and provisions in place for students with severe learning difficulties, Autism and ADHD. Candidates that work well at the school are calm, unfazed and empathetic.

They require an experienced teaching assistant who have worked in an SEN field previously. You will be required to support the child on a one-to-one basis.

The school is accessible from a number of bus routes and train lines.

Key skills and experience needed:

• Previous experience within a school or other child related work
• SEN knowledge (Autism)
• Must have Team Teach training
• Level2/3 teaching qualification
• Confident with Key Stage 2 pupils
• Enthusiasm and friendly approach

It is crucial that you will have a DBS on the update service and be able to provide 2 references.
