Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Team Manager to work within Wandsworth Councils Substance Misuse Team.

Job Purpose

• There is one specialist Substance Misuse Team for Richmond and Wandsworth, which will be based in Wandsworth Town Hall with a facility to hot desk at the Civic in Twickenham. The Team Manager will lead and manage this very complex and high-risk area of Social Work and ensure the team works in close partnership with Wandsworth Community Drug and Alcohol Service and Richmond Integrated Recovery Service.
• The Team Manager supports the Service Manager by leading and managing the Substance Misuse Team, to provide a high quality, effective and efficient social care service to adults and their carers in Richmond/ Wandsworth. This role delivers leadership and professional supervision to the practitioners in the team to provide direction, oversee risk assessment and risk management, to maintain practice standards and promote continuous professional development. They also have shared accountability for a given budget.

You will need to be:

SWE registered
