Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Team Manager to work within an Adults Social Services Team for a Local Authority based in Kent.

Job Purpose

This post involves managing a team of 28 staff with one other Team Manager. This team is made up of Social Workers and Social Care officers. The work is generic as this you would be dealing with Older Adults, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Physical Disabilities.

This team carries out assessments and reviews under the Care Act, carry out safeguarding and we run a front door duty for the locality traiging referrals into the service and short term work using the 3 conversations model.

The work involves managing staff, carrying out regular supervision, allocation of cases, performance management, chairing safeguarding meetings, attending management meetings, supporting the duty team, and dealing with HR issues.

About you

• HCPC registration
• Enhanced DBS
• Experience of working in an Adults Social Care enviornment
• Full compliance required
