Our client is currently restructuring some Adult Social Care services to align with Community Health Services and require a Team Manager for one of four new localities who will be responsible for a range of staff including Social Workers and Occupational Therapists. As well as day to day management of the service, staff, budgets and quality assurance, developing strong partnerships with Health and other local organisations / groups will be essential. There is a cohesive team approach with an expectation that this role contributes to service improvement across the whole division which also consists of Initial Assessment, Hospital Social Work, an Integrated Community Learning Disability Service, Mental Health Services, Reablement and Brokerage.

The successful applicant will be a HCPC registered Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with some management experience and a comprehensive, in-depth knowledge and understanding of the integration agenda and developments in social care and health including the safeguarding of adults. The candidate must also demonstrate knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and Best Value approaches, have budget management experience, and be able to demonstrate the leadership and innovation qualities required for this position.
