Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Team Leader for a Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub Team in South West London.

Job Purpose

The Single Point of Access Team (MASH) is The Front Door ' for Early Help, Children Social Care and CAMHS. The Role Of the Single Point Of Access (SPA) is to make decisions about levels of need based on all the available information. Referrals come from a range of different agencies with the highest number coming from Police, Health and Schools. The expectation is that decisions are made within 24 hours and feedback is given to referrer within 72 hours. On average SPA receive 1250 child referrals a month, 5-10% of these will be referred to Safeguarding Team, 80-90% will be referred to Early Help or universal services.

What you will bring:

You will be an experienced social worker /manager who has a proven track record in working within a MASH team or relevant statutory experience. You will be experienced in safeguarding practices and policies, knowing what to look for when considering threshold and determining the most appropriate level of support for child our family.

We require a highly skilled practitioner who is confident in writing analytical risk assessments and using the signs of safety to provide rationale for management decisions. A Team Leader who understand the importance of timely and accurate recording ensuing that contacts are progressed within 24 hours and the service maintain its Key Performance Targets. Who will be used to quickly reviewing case histories and completing chronologies to inform you about a child's life decisions about next steps.

We require a Team Leader who is confident working in multi-agency environment who can quickly developing strong working with receiving team manager and key partner agencies. Communication is key requirement as you will have responsibilities for attending multi agencies safeguarding meetings. The role comes with supervisory responsibilities for contact officers, experience of supervising qualified and nonqualified staff is desirable.
