2x SEN Teaching Assistants - Greenwich - Primary School - ASAP

Remedy Education are looking to recruit two graduates to work as full time, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants in the Greenwich area, to start ASAP!

This wonderful school is a lovely, creative and inclusive SEN Primary School. The school is very well led, with a fantastic team ethic and supportive culture in place.

If you are a GRADUATE with a genuine interest in working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and aspirations of training to become an Educational / Clinical or Child Psychologist, this full time, long term SEN Teaching Assistant position could be the ideal experience and opportunity for you ahead of such a career.

APPLICANTS:

  • Bright and caring graduates, confident in their academic ability and with at least a 2:1 degree or better.
  • The school's leadership team are looking for people with enthusiasm, positivity and a calm, caring attitude
  • Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant would be the ideal experience, exposure and opportunity for a Psychology Graduate; perhaps with aspirations of training to become an Education, Clinical or Child Psychologist
  • Gain varied, invaluable, front line experience within an inclusive Lewisham SEN School, ahead of your Doctorate or Masters in 2017/18.

ROLE:

  • KS1 and KS2 primary SEN Teaching Assistants.
  • Both roles are full time and require you to support children with Autism (ASD) on a full time, 1:1 basis.
  • You will be trained to work with variety of therapies such as: Music Therapy, Dance Therapy, Drama Therapy.
  • The roles require someone committed and caring, not afraid of the daily challenges which a SEN TA role brings.
  • ASAP Start -July 2019 - Paid £75 - £85 per day

  • The school itself is fantastic; well led, inclusive and has a wonderfully supportive staff team in place.
  • Less than a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, the school has a well-resourced site, situated in Greenwich; with large grounds, including a staff car park for those who drive.
