To be considered for this Psychology Graduate (SEN Teaching Assistant role) you must be a nurturing Psychology Graduate who has at least received a 2.1 in your degree and previous experience working with children with Special Needs or classroom-based practice. As a Psychology Graduate, you will be able to develop caring relations and prove you are serious about a career in SEN education.

As a Psychology Graduate working in a SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will have the responsibility of supporting children with Special Educational Needs, not only making an invaluable contribution to their education, but furthering your own portfolio as well. Within the role of Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you shall be given the chance to support small groups of SEN children to ensure they are given every opportunity to excel and provide one to one support as directed. You will assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and work under the direct instruction of experienced Teachers.
