Teaching assistant role based within a PRU school

Full time - Monday to Friday - 8.30am-3.30pm

Long term to permanent contract

£80-85 a day

Based within a school in Croydon

Remedy Education is currently looking for an experienced PRU specialist to work in a highly regarded Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Croydon South West London.

The role starts in September 2019 and would be for the full of the academic year at a daily rate between £80 and £85 per day.The PRU specialises in working with primary aged pupils with SEMH pupils who have been permanently excluded from mainstream settings.

You will be working within the classroom supporting students with challenging behaviour, you will be working 1:1 and in small groups.

Key requirements:

Must have experience working within a PRU or SEN school

Must be able to support challenging behaviour

Must have good communication and behaviour management skills

Must have an up to date DBS

The school is based in the heart of Croydon and has great transport links, the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
