Teaching Assistant - PMLD - South East London

Teaching assistant required to work in a specialist provision within a primary school for children with complex learning difficulties.

** Teaching Assistant working with 5-11 year old children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
** Applicants should have previous experience with PMLD children or young people working as a teaching assistant or support worker.
** Teaching Assistant required to meet both children's educational and medical needs

** Previous SEN training a bonus such as Makaton or PECs

As a teaching assistant within the provision, you will be line-managed by a very supportive and passionate SENCO and join a multi-disciplinary team of, physiotherapists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, speech & language therapists as well as highly specialised visiting SEN Teaching professionals - a great environment for you to gain experience and hone your experience and knowledge further!
