Are you an experienced teaching assistant, with experience catering with pupils with SEND? Or, do you have extensive mainstream experience, with a particularly keen interest in working in SEND?

Remedy Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and proactive teaching assistant to work in a large SEND school in Lambeth, which caters for pupils with ASD, PMLD and complex needs. Class sizes are small (no more than 6 - 8 pupils per class) to provide individualised and focused attention, and support provided throughout the school is excellent.

The school has both a primary and secondary setting on site, so a willingness to work across the age ranges is essential. However, the complex was built in 2015 and is very modern - making the facilities simply first-class!

For this role, ideally you will:

• Be available 5 days a week.
• Possess an up-to-date DBS, or be willing to acquire one through Remedy Education.
• Have previous experience catering for pupils with a range of SEND requirements, including; ASD/PMLD/complex

Needs.

• Have excellent communication skills, to effectively engage all pupils in the learning.
• Be able to use positive reinforcement, in accordance with the schools behaviour policy, to effectively manage

Behaviour and promote outstanding learning within the classroom.
