Remedy are looking to employee a teaching assistant who can assist with students with challenging behaviour based in Bromley, London.

Previous youth work experience is helpful when dealing with these students as they suffer with SEMH.

* Full time Teaching Assistant position, immediate start.

* £80- £85 per day depending upon previous experiences

* Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis and in a classroom setting

The successful Teaching Assistant will support students in class across the subject areas, and deliver targeted interventions to students on a 1:1 basis during lessons and break times.

Further to this, the appointed Youth Work Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, which is great experience of classroom and behaviour management. Due to some of the students displaying challenging behaviour, the role will also involve working closely with pupils who have been withdrawn from lessons.
